Abstract
In this research, the book Maze Runner, written by author, taught us the importance of values in everyday life. One excellent form of media that significantly aids in educating the reader is a novel. Even from child and adult authors, the majority of teenagers are now reading a book. When we read a novel, we can picture the events of the story. The educational process could be influenced favorably by a book. The novel's straightforward explanation of the procedure and message might spark interest and serve as inspiration to learn. The issues were with the teaching principles found in James Dashner's book The Maze Runner. The study's methodology was a qualitative one, which did not require the use of statistics to investigate the data or perform descriptive analyses. The Maze Runner book served as the main source of information. To supplement and complete the original data sources, secondary data was gathered from a variety of literary works and some pertinent sites. The study's findings revealed that the Maze Runner novel included some instructive principles, like never giving up, self-confidence, being kind and polite, love, forgiveness, optimism, helping others, and responsibility as a member of human society. The most common outcomes were optimism and never giving up.
